We urge the Maryland House of Delegates to pass the David Perez Military Heroes Act – a crucial and widely supported bipartisan act that extends complementary and alternative medical options for Maryland veterans. The bill is supported by Democrats and Republicans. It passed the Maryland State Senate unanimously [SB 656] and is supported by many VA physicians, healthcare workers, veterans groups, and members of the American Legion. The bill is currently with the House Health and Government Operations committee chaired by HoCo’s own Del Shane Pendergass (District 13).
